What’s the difference between Christian and Christian?

What You DONT know about sin
God’s people are destroyed for lack of knowledge (Hosea 4:6).

What’s the difference between a person who got saved yesterday and one who got saved ten years ago? What’s the difference between the preacher and one who sings in the choir? What’s the difference between one who wears a suit and one who wears jeans to church? What’s the difference between Christian and Christian?

If those questions were lying open on the table for whomever to answer, wouldn’t you want to see the verses that confirm the answers given? The difference between anything in a building called church is knowledge. You do what you think is right and so does the church across the street, all based on what each has come to believe.

However, what if what you have come to believe is false? Are you willing to check? What if the things you believe are not even written in the Bible you carry? What if the things your denomination believes are false? Would you check your Bible? What if most of the people who believe they have eternal life were deceived? Could that be true according to your Bible?

Who do you check with to make sure that you are right, the preacher or the Word of God? What if the preacher is wrong? Is there one preacher out there who can testify that he actually believes the Bible he uses? Is there a church left that believes the very Bible they approve? Tell me which one it is so that I can join!

Do you believe the Words of Jesus Christ in your Bible? Are you a believer? If I quoted Luke 13:24-28 from your version of the Bible, would you say “Amen?”

Luke 13:24-29

24 “Strive to enter through the narrow gate, for many, I say to you, will seek to enter and will not be able.  25 When once the Master of the house has risen up and shut the door, and you begin to stand outside and knock at the door, saying, ‘Lord, Lord, open for us,’ and He will answer and say to you, ‘I do not know you, where you are from,’ 26 then you will begin to say, ‘We ate and drank in Your presence, and You taught in our streets.’  27 But He will say, ‘I tell you I do not know you, where you are from. Depart from Me, all you workers of iniquity.’  28 There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when you see Abraham and Isaac and Jacob and all the prophets in the kingdom of God, and yourselves thrust out. NKJV

You can’t say amen to that because if Luke 13:24-28 (above) were true, then most of what you hear today is a false doctrine. Those verses say “strive to enter.” You entered the Kingdom of God when you got saved, right? Wrong!

You were seated with Christ in His Kingdom (Ephesians 2:6-10, Colossians 1:12-14), and you were qualified to be partakers in the inheritance in the light (Colossians 1:12), or in other words, you were given the right to become children of God (John 1:12). Check the verses!

Some will quickly stand up and shout that we are children of God according to 1 John 3:1-2, but the same cannot see that those who have that hope living in them also purify themselves according to the very next verse (1 John 3:3), and that they stop sinning according to the next few verses (1 John 3:4-10). Those verses are rarely seen by those who read 1 John chapter 3 because the very verses they speak against are no longer living on the inside of them (1 Timothy 6:20-21, Mark 4:24-25). Those who purify themselves, do so through obeying the Word of God (1 Peter 1:22-25). Check it!

Out of the people who seek to enter the Kingdom of God, many of them will not be able to enter. They thought they were going to be able to enter because they “got saved,” but in the end they found out that they could not.

According to Galatians 5:19-21, Ephesians 5:3-7, and 1 Corinthians 6:9, there are certain sins that will prevent us from entering the Kingdom of God, or prevent us from having an inheritance there. Check the verses! We can’t stop sinning before we get saved, but we can and should afterwards.

What happened? The problem was that they didn’t come to know Jesus Christ (verse 25 above). Somehow they got the instructions wrong. How can a person attend a place called church all their life and get the instructions wrong? It’s because their faith is in a man, or a denomination rather than the Word of God they have been carrying for years.

Your Bible clearly tells us how to come to know Jesus, but it is not taught. Why would any organization call themselves “Christian” and not teach the doctrine of Jesus Christ? It’s called financial gain. Nobody wants to hear the truth, and it is written that in the last days people will turn away from the truth and gather up teachers to say what they want to hear (2 Timothy 4:1-4). Look around! That is what is happening everywhere in this country.

There are very few popular Christian songs today that are “not” in direct opposition to the Word of God. In fact, there isn’t anything left that identifies itself as Christian in this country that mentions the doctrine of abiding in Jesus Christ (John 15:1-17), and there hasn’t been for twenty plus years (2 John 1:8-11). Feel good philosophy is what sells, which is proof that we are in the very last days (Colossians 2:8, 2 Timothy 4:1-4). Check the verses. If you think differently, please send me the DVD, or tell me where I can watch or listen to the sermon and I will be glad to go by the library and look it up.

Your Bible does not say to “go have a personal relationship with Jesus.” That’s philosophy, and we have to be careful not to allow people to take us captive by it (Colossians 2:8). You might find something like that in the message Bible, but I beg you to get a different Bible before it is too late.

I know that Luke 13:24-29 is going to come true whether I like it or not because it is written. Therefore, I’m not here to make friends, but to save souls in accordance with what is written in the Bible. There are going to be a lot of people who think they are going to make it simply because they got saved, since some famous person told them that they have eternal life as soon as they said “Jesus is Lord,” but please listen up.

You got saved, great! Go and read the verses that speak of being saved and you will see that there is no promise of eternal life in them for those who do nothing else. Even John 3:16 has belief as a condition. Go back and ask those who teach you to show you what they are saying in a verse.

If you believe Jesus, then you believe that you must obey what He commanded us to do in order to remain (abide) in Him (John 15:1-10). If you do not believe John chapter 15, then what are you basing your faith on? The goal of our faith is the salvation of our souls (1 Peter 1:9). Your Bible instructs you not to welcome people who do not bring that doctrine (2 John 1:8-11), and yet have you ever heard it? If you have never heard that we have to abide in Jesus Christ after we get saved in order to keep from burning in the fire (John 15:6), then someone is leading you astray.

Check the verses and you will see what I am telling you. Then you will know that just like Judas Iscariot, the famous religious people of our day have traded what we need to hear in order to enter the Kingdom of God, which is the doctrine of Jesus Christ, for their own personal gospel message, and that for financial gain (1 Timothy 6:3-5). Repent!

Jesus is the source of “eternal salvation” for those who “obey” Him (Hebrews 5:9). I don’t think there is a single one left on TV or radio who teaches people to obey Jesus, which is a part of making disciples (Matthew 28:19-20). We are that close to the end, and millions have already been deceived in death at the hands of the greedy.

When will Jesus make His home on the inside of us according to John 14:21-23 in your Bible? Does it say that when you got saved, Jesus made His home in you? No. Does it say, “go have a personal relationship with Jesus,” or does it say “obey the teaching?” So now, will you continue to promote a false doctrine all in the name of Jesus Christ, at the cost of tricking unsuspecting people, or will you repent?

Now that we are saved, we have to seek to enter the Kingdom of God according to the Words of Jesus Christ (Matthew 6:33). God calls us into His Kingdom (1 Thessalonians 2:12). We have to be born again before we can even “see” the Kingdom of God (John 3:3), and only after our faith grows and our love increases will we be considered worthy of it (2 Thessalonians 1:3-5). If we do not continue in our faith, we will not remain holy in His sight, point, blank, period (Colossians 1:21-23, Hebrews 10:36-39). Check the verses so that you can identify the liars who are killing millions for their own gain.

The reason you are not being taught these things is because your teachers have fallen away from the faith, since they readily speak against the faith (1 Timothy 6:20-21). These things have been taken from them (Mark 4:24-25). If you do not think so, then why has no one taught you how to come to know Jesus according to what is written in your Bible?

Read Ephesians 4:20-24 and tell me how to come to know Jesus? You should already know that since no one is going to make it who does not know Jesus according to Luke 13:24-28. Read 1 John 2:3 and tell me how to come to know Jesus.

Can people get saved and never follow Ephesians 4:20-24 (put off your old ways, renew your mind, and put on the new person), or 1 John 2:3 (obey Jesus’ commands)? Sure they can, and especially since it is not being taught. Welcome to the last days!

According to Luke 13:24-28 above, will anyone make it into the Kingdom of God without knowing Jesus? How about according to Matthew 7:21-23 below?

Matthew 7:21-23

21 “Not everyone who says to Me, Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.  22 Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’  23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’ NKJV

Are you calling Jesus a liar by your own testimony? Better repent! It’s easy to get saved into the Kingdom of Christ (Ephesians 2:6-10, Colossians 1:12-14, Romans 10:9-13), but we have to “strive to enter the Kingdom of God (Luke 13:24).

In the end before Jesus hands the Kingdom back to God the Father (1 Corinthians 15:24), He is going to weed out of His Kingdom those who practice lawlessness, which is sin (1 John 3:4).

Matthew 13:40-43

40 Therefore as the tares are gathered and burned in the fire, so it will be at the end of this age.  41 The Son of Man will send out His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all things that offend, and those who practice lawlessness,  42 and will cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth.  43 Then the righteous will shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears to hear, let him hear! NKJV

So now, we don’t have to stop sinning before we get saved, but do we need to stop sinning after we get saved? If Jesus did not lie in Matthew 18:8-9 then we need to stop sinning, but some people are betting their eternal life on Him being a liar. Tell me this. If I could teach you how to abide in Jesus Christ, which is the doctrine that all of us is supposed to be teaching, then what would happen according to 1 John 3:6 below?

1 John 3:4-9

4 Whoever commits sin also commits lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness. 5 And you know that He was manifested to take away our sins, and in Him there is no sin. 6 Whoever abides in Him does not sin. Whoever sins has neither seen Him nor known Him.

7 Little children, let no one deceive you. He who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous. 8 He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil. 9 Whoever has been born of God does not sin, for His seed remains in him; and he cannot sin, because he has been born of God. NKJV

If you have any questions about this teaching, ask and I will answer you in accordance to what is written in your Bible. To the unbelieving, nothing is pure (Titus 1:15-16). Therefore, they cannot teach from any version of the Bible, since their teachings will not match what is actually written. Their mind is defiled and they are unfit for any good work. Check the verse!

I know they say things like, “This word in the Greek means this or that,” but their Greek translation is indeed just another translation of what a particular word actually meant 2000 years ago. Imagine that. They use a translation to say that your translation is incorrect, and yet there is no translation that proves what they teach. Therefore, they can only commend themselves, by themselves, and measure themselves against themselves (2 Corinthians 10:12).

  1. Why do people spend so much time in the gospels. Jesus Christ was operating under the law. We need to study the Pauline epistles, which is doctrine for the church. I Cor. 15:1-4 is what one must do to be saved. Please rightly divide the Word of God. Follow Paul as he follows Jesus. True Christians will be judged at the bema seat of Christ, according to Paul gospel.

    1. Why do people spend so much time in the Gospels? It is because I am a Christian; Christ follower (Acts 11:26), just as Paul was. That’s what disciples (followers) of Jesus Christ were called; Christians.

You say that “We need to study the Pauline epistles,” and you use 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 to describe what we must do to be saved. I do believe those verses, but they do not tell us to ignore the Gospels.

Besides, if you hold to the teachings of Paul, then why do you go beyond what is written, which is also in 1 Corinthians.

      1 Corinthians 4:6
6 Now these things, brethren, I have figuratively transferred to myself and Apollos for your sakes, that you may learn in us not to think beyond what is written, that none of you may be puffed up on behalf of one against the other. NKJV

Paul didn’t teach people to “not spend time in the Gospels.” My advice to you would be to trash everything you have learned that is beyond what is actually written in the Word of God. Then you will show yourself approved, since those whom the Lord sends speaks His Words (John 3:34).
