If it is not written in your Bible, then it is not needed for this life and godliness, point, blank, period (2 Peter 1:3-4). And those who add all kinds of man-made junk as if they have an extra verses tailor-made for you straight from God are simply liars (Proverbs 30:5-6).
Proverbs 30:5-6
5 Every word of God is pure; He is a shield to those who put their trust in Him. 6 Do not add to His words, Lest He rebuke you, and you be found a liar. NKJV
The next time someone comes at you will all kinds of junk that isn’t even written in the Bible, tell them to tell it to the corn field. There is more ears out there. It is true that we only know in part (1 Corinthians 13:9), but the part we know we can trust, and it is all that is needed. Trust what is written and forget out anything else.
Your first question toward anyone who is trying to teach you anything spiritual should be, “Where is it written?” I’m Alan Ballou; a servant.
