Comments: Whats the difference in eternal salvation and being saved into the kingdom of Christ
The short answer is, “remaining in the Kingdom.”
Explanation.
The Kingdom of God has been given to Christ, or in other words, Christ has been placed in charge of it.
Luke 22:29
29 And I bestow upon you a kingdom, just as My Father bestowed one upon Me, NKJV
Matthew 28:18
18 And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. NKJV
Acts 10:42
42 And He commanded us to preach to the people, and to testify that it is He who was ordained by God to be Judge of the living and the dead. NKJV
When we were saved, as Christians (Christ followers Acts 11:26), we were placed into Christ”s Kingdom, which is simply the Kingdom of God under Christ’s control.
Ephesians 2:4-10
4 But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, 5 even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), 6 and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, 7 that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. 8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, lest anyone should boast. 10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them. NKJV
Colossians 1:12-14
12 giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light. 13 He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, 14 in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins. NKJV
This is the reason why I would say something like “we were saved into the Kingdom of Christ,” because that is where all Christians were placed by God when we got saved.
Out of those who get saved, only those who trust and believe Jesus Christ, and believe the Gospel are sealed and guaranteed an inheritance.
Ephesians 1:13-14
13 In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, 14 who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory. NKJV
The rest of the Christians, who were saved into the Kingdom of Christ, do not have a permanent place in the family. In other words, they are in the family, but they will not remain, or abide in the family forever, according to the Word of the Lord written in John 8:34-36 below.
John 8:34-36
34 Jesus answered them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, whoever commits sin is a slave of sin. 35 And a slave does not abide in the house forever, but a son abides forever. 36 Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed. NKJV
The only Christians, who are set free from being a slave to sin, are the ones who abide (remain) in Jesus. Check the verses below, and know that there is not a church left in the Bible belt that is teaching these verses, but wouldn’t they teach them if they trusted Jesus? Welcome to the last days!
John 15:4-6
4 Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me. 5 “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. 6 If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned. NKJV
1 John 3:4-6
4 Whoever commits sin also commits lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness. 5 And you know that He was manifested to take away our sins, and in Him there is no sin. 6 Whoever abides in Him does not sin. Whoever sins has neither seen Him nor known Him. NKJV
The only way to abide in Jesus Christ is to obey His commands, and so this is why it is written that Jesus is the source of eternal salvation for those who obey Him, but no body preaches these verses.
John 15:9-10
9 “As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in My love. 10 If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love. NKJV
Hebrews 5:9
9 And having been perfected, He became the author of eternal salvation to all who obey Him, 10 called by God as High Priest “according to the order of Melchizedek,” NKJV
Again, you will not find one denomination in the Bible belt that teaches these verses, and yet they are clearly written in their Bibles. They boldly ignore them, and most of them willingly proclaim the opposite as truth. Woe to those who support false doctrines. When the blind lead the blind, both fall into the ditch (Luke 6:39).
The Christians, who continue in lawlessness (sin 1 John 3:4), will be weeded out of the Kingdom of Christ (Matthew 13:40-43), before Jesus hands the Kingdom back to God our Father (1 Corinthians 15:21-28). Therefore, eternal salvation is for those who remain in the Kingdom of God, when it is in Heaven, hence the term Kingdom of Heaven.
Matthew 13:40-43
40 Therefore as the tares are gathered and burned in the fire, so it will be at the end of this age. 41 The Son of Man will send out His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all things that offend, and those who practice lawlessness, 42 and will cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth. 43 Then the righteous will shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears to hear, let him hear! NKJV
1 Corinthians 15:21-28
21 For since by man came death, by Man also came the resurrection of the dead. 22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ all shall be made alive. 23 But each one in his own order: Christ the firstfruits, afterward those who are Christ’s at His coming. 24 Then comes the end, when He delivers the kingdom to God the Father, when He puts an end to all rule and all authority and power. 25 For He must reign till He has put all enemies under His feet. 26 The last enemy that will be destroyed is death. 27 For “He has put all things under His feet.” But when He says “all things are put under Him,” it is evident that He who put all things under Him is excepted. 28 Now when all things are made subject to Him, then the Son Himself will also be subject to Him who put all things under Him, that God may be all in all. NKJV
This is why Matthew 25:14-30 starts off saying “The Kingdom of Heaven is like…” and down in verse 30 the unprofitable servant is cast into outer darkness. He was in the Kingdom, and he was a servant, but he did not do what he was supposed to do; the will of God. Read the full parable from your Bible.
Matthew 25:30
30 And cast the unprofitable servant into the outer darkness. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’ NKJV
Another example is Matthew 22:1-14. In verse 2 Jesus starts off saying, “The Kingdom of Heaven is like…” and again He explains a man who made it all the way into the wedding feast, but he was kicked out because he did not have wedding clothes on, which are the righteous acts of the saints (Revelation 19:8). Therefore, he too was cast into outer darkness.
Matthew 22:11-13
11 “But when the king came in to see the guests, he saw a man there who did not have on a wedding garment. 12 So he said to him, ‘Friend, how did you come in here without a wedding garment?’ And he was speechless. 13 Then the king said to the servants, ‘Bind him hand and foot, take him away, and cast him into outer darkness; there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’ NKJV
Revelation 19:8
8 And to her it was granted to be arrayed in fine linen, clean and bright, for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints. NKJV
Greedy preachers do not preach 2 Corinthians 9:12-14 (below), which identifies ministering (helps) and supplying the needs of the saints as proof of obeying the Gospel.
2 Corinthians 9:12-14
12 For the administration of this service not only supplies the needs of the saints, but also is abounding through many thanksgivings to God, 13 while, through the proof of this ministry, they glorify God for the obedience of your confession to the gospel of Christ, and for your liberal sharing with them and all men, 14 and by their prayer for you, who long for you because of the exceeding grace of God in you. NKJV
Nor do they preach Titus 3:14 (below), but they command the people to tithe according to Moses, which places them back under the Laws of Moses (Romans 3:19, Galatians 3:12 below), which is contrary to sound doctrine and the Gospel (1 Timothy 1:9-11). Therefore, it will be easy for them to have no righteous acts and as a result to be cast out of the Kingdom.
Titus 3:14
14 And let our people also learn to maintain good works, to meet urgent needs, that they may not be unfruitful. NKJV
Galatians 3:12
12 Yet the law is not of faith, but “the man who does them shall live by them.” NKJV
Romans 3:19
19 Now we know that whatever the law says, it says to those who are under the law, that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God. NKJV
Those who practice certain sins, have no inheritance in the Kingdom. There are sins that lead to death, and sins that do not lead to death. Know the truth for yourself so that you will not be tricked by denominational teachings.
Galatians 5:19-21
19 Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, 20 idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, 21 envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. NKJV
Ephesians 5:3-7
3 But fornication and all uncleanness or covetousness, let it not even be named among you, as is fitting for saints; 4 neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor coarse jesting, which are not fitting, but rather giving of thanks. 5 For this you know, that no fornicator, unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God. 6 Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience. 7 Therefore do not be partakers with them. NKJV
1 John 5:16-17
16 If anyone sees his brother sinning a sin which does not lead to death, he will ask, and He will give him life for those who commit sin not leading to death. There is sin leading to death. I do not say that he should pray about that. 17 All unrighteousness is sin, and there is sin not leading to death. NKJV
Only those who overcome shall not be hurt by the second death (Revelation 2:11 )below, which is the lake of fire (Revelation 21:7-8 )below, and only those who overcome will take part in the first resurrection, that the blind promise to everyone who will listen to them (Revelation 20:5-6) below. Those who do not overcome will not raise to life until the thousand-year reign is over.
Check the verses below and know who has been lying to you for years; telling you what you want to hear about the raising of the dead in order to keep your support (2 Timothy 4:3-4, Acts 20:29-31).
Revelation 2:11
11 “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. He who overcomes shall not be hurt by the second death.”‘NKJV
Revelation 21:7-8
7 He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son. 8 But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.” NKJV
Revelation 20:5-6
5 But the rest of the dead did not live again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. 6 Blessed and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection. Over such the second death has no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with Him a thousand years. NKJV
Know the truth for yourself, so that you will not be tricked by deceivers who serve only themselves (Ephesians 4:13-14).
I’m alan ballou; a servant. If you have questions for me, ask, but know that a servant of the Lord never speaks to please people, but in truth. By their fruits you will know them.
Galatians 1:10
10 For do I now persuade men, or God? Or do I seek to please men? For if I still pleased men, I would not be a bondservant of Christ. NKJV
1 Thessalonians 2:4-7
4 But as we have been approved by God to be entrusted with the gospel, even so we speak, not as pleasing men, but God who tests our hearts. 5 For neither at any time did we use flattering words, as you know, nor a cloak for covetousness — God is witness. 6 Nor did we seek glory from men, either from you or from others, when we might have made demands as apostles of Christ. NKJV
