What is sin that leads to death part 2

Unrighteousness is another sin that leads to death (1 Corinthians 6:9).

This is part 2 of the video teaching “What is sin that leads to death” by Alan Ballou. Here is a link to part 1.

Every Christian in the world needs to know these verses regardless of their denomination. Those who reject these verses will be very comfortable among the dead (Proverbs 15:9-10, Psalm 50:16-17). (more…)

Is there a preacher left that preaches the Gospel?

Is there a preacher left that preaches the Gospel? By Alan Ballou

You might say, “That’s a stupid question,” but you would be asking the same question if you knew what was in the Gospel according to your Bible. The Gospel of the Kingdom, which Jesus preached, and the Apostles preached, is the same Gospel that we should be hearing, and it contains much more than what we might hear in a typical Bible belt church today.

In fact, you will probably never hear a complete Gospel. Yes Christ died for our sins, He was buried, and He rose again on the third day (1 Corinthians 15:3-4). Praise God! However, that is far from a complete Gospel. In fact, we can get saved, and then reject the Gospel, as many are doing today (John 6:60-69). Here are the parts of the Gospel that you will not hear. Don’t be so spiritually minded that you are no earthly good.

Don’t be so spiritually minded that you are no earthly good. By Alan Ballou

Why do you have to be so serious they ask? Don’t be so spiritually minded that you are no earthly good. The Lord rebukes you! What day will you get serious about the Christian life? Will it be before or after the door closes and the owner says “Away from Me, I never knew you” (verse 25 below)?

Luke 13:23-28

23 Then one said to Him, “Lord, are there few who are saved?” And He said to them, 24 “Strive to enter through the narrow gate, for many, I say to you, will seek to enter and will not be able.  25 When once the Master of the house has risen up and shut the door, and you begin to stand outside and knock at the door, saying, ‘Lord, Lord, open for us,’ and He will answer and say to you, ‘I do not know you, where you are from,’  26 then you will begin to say, ‘We ate and drank in Your presence, and You taught in our streets.’  27 But He will say, ‘I tell you I do not know you, where you are from. Depart from Me, all you workers of iniquity.’  28 There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when you see Abraham and Isaac and Jacob and all the prophets in the kingdom of God, and yourselves thrust out. NKJV

Let me give you a bit of news here. I wasn’t any earthly good when the Lord found me and pulled me up out of the fire and gave me Words to speak. And yet now I should be less serious when millions have been tricked into thinking that they cannot be kicked out of the Kingdom all because someone of high standing in the world’s eyes declares they can’t be (verse 28 above, Matthew 13:40-43)? What! Is the alarm not going off at your house? Can you not hear it? (more…)
