About

Hello, I’m Alan Ballou aka Pastor Blue to the homeless people living in my community, and the people whom the Lord has allowed me to minister to from around the world. I am a servant, and I help people free of charge, even if they do not buy my books.

I teach believers how to rely on God’s power through faith-based teachings that deliver faith-based results promised according to what is written in the Bible.  My help is free of charge to all believers, anywhere in the world in keeping with 1 Peter 4:10.

For the past twenty years I’ve been working with church people, people in homeless shelters, and people on the street in matters concerning sin, deliverance, and healing. The Lord has also allowed me to work through people in different countries for deliverance and healing. Praise be to the Lord God almighty!

My wife Lucie and I work as a team. We make disciples of Jesus Christ by teaching people to obey in keeping with the great commission (Matthew 28:19-21). We help turn those who have strayed in error, in order to save their souls in keeping with James 5:19-20.

I teach at church events, Bible studies groups, prayer groups, from house to house, men and women groups, over the internet, and any other place where people will speak about what is actually written in the Bible. I’ve even taught in the Waffle House (a restaurant) on many occasions.

My promise to you is that I will speak according to what is written in the Bible. I will not teach you anything that I cannot show you in writing. All I ask is that you accept and believe what is written and trash any opinion, or philosophy that is against the written truth (John 17:17, 12:47-49).

If you believe the verses that are written in your Bible and you are ready for results according to faith in Jesus Christ, then I will help you. If not, I am so sorry. I will answer you if you have a question, but I am done with philosophy and worldly wisdom, which only gives an appearance of wisdom, but is of no value in stopping sin, according to the Word of the Lord, written in Colossians 2:8, 20-23 below. I am so sorry.

Colossians 2:8  Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to Christ. NKJV

Colossians 2: 20-23  Therefore, if you died with Christ from the basic principles of the world, why, as though living in the world, do you subject yourselves to regulations —  21 “Do not touch, do not taste, do not handle,” 22 which all concern things which perish with the using — according to the commandments and doctrines of men? 23 These things indeed have an appearance of wisdom in self-imposed religion, false humility, and neglect of the body, but are of no value against the indulgence of the flesh. NKJV

I’m just a plain and simple guy who woke up at the age of thirty two years old when God called me to be a teacher. My wisdom is from the Lord and not man. I decided to actually believe what is written in the Bible as it was revealed to me, and it worked just like it is written. Praise God.

Why haven’t you heard many of the things that I teach in church for the past twenty years? The things that God has revealed to dummies like me are hidden from the wise (Matthew 11:25).

Matthew 11:25 At that time Jesus answered and said, “I thank You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You have hidden these things from the wise and prudent and have revealed them to babes. NKJV

They don’t trust God, but in their schooling. I’m a high school dropout, but the Lord my God has gifted me with knowledge, and wisdom, and the grace to teach His Word like it is written. Glory be to the Lord God almighty, Who has chosen dummies like me to put to shame the wise.

1 Corinthians 1:26-30  For you see your calling, brethren, that not many wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called.  27 But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty; 28 and the base things of the world and the things which are despised God has chosen, and the things which are not, to bring to nothing the things that are, 29 that no flesh should glory in His presence. NKJV

Real pastors and teachers were given by Christ to prepare God’s people for ministry, until we all reach oneness (unity) in faith and knowledge (Ephesians 4:11-13). Unfortunately, there are also man-made pastors and teachers who are called by man to fill buildings known as churches, who only mention verses that support their own man-made doctrines.

Let us repent and return to the Lord our God, and accept His Word just like it is written. Father in Jesus name have mercy on all of us! Come Lord Jesus, come!

This is my blog site (Alan’s Blog). Please visit his main site at HowToStopSinning.com to read many articles on “How to stop”, “Can we stop,” and “Should we stop sinning” according to what is written in the Bible. Ask me a question and receive an answer without philosophy or human wisdom, but with the verses straight out of the Bible to back it up (Colossians 2:8, 1 Corinthians 1:17). Click here to ask a question.

According to God’s Word, differences arise so that those who are approved may be recognized as it is written in 1 Corinthians 11:19.  Therefore, I take questions at any time, even in the middle of teaching. I welcome anyone at any time to prove me wrong with any verse that they feel has been violated. Praise God. I answer every question with scripture without going beyond what is written (1 Corinthians 4:6, Proverbs 30:5-6), and straight out of the Bible (New King James version). I welcome your questions at any time.

If it is in the Bible, I accept it, believe it, and preach it. If it is not in the Bible, it is not needed for this life and godliness according to the Word of the Lord written in 2 Peter 1:3-4. Also, I do not preach for any one denomination or side with any party except those who accept and believe what is actually written in the Bible.

    1. Yes I do. The link should be on the main page of this site somewhere, with the last few tweets as well. @AlanBallou. If you are using a phone, it may not be.

  1. I must thank you for the efforts you’ve put in writing this website. I’m hoping to view the same high-grade blog posts from you later on as well. In fact, your creative writing abilities has encouraged me to get my very own website now 😉

  2. I just want to say I am just newbie to weblog and seriously liked this web site. Probably I’m want to bookmark your website . You actually come with exceptional article content. Thanks for sharing your web site.

  3. I know this if off topic but I am seeking into starting my personal weblog and was questioning what all is required to have set up? I am assuming obtaining a weblog like yours would expense a pretty penny? I am not extremely web smart so I am not 100% specific. Any suggestions or advice will be tremendously appreciated. Thanks

    1. There are two ways to produce a website. Do it yourself or hire someone. I did my own, praise God, because I don’t have a lot of money. If you decide to do your own, then Word Press has “how to” videos, and you can go to “Linda.com” to learn everything you need to know. Word Press is free and Linda.com is about $25 month. If you have a knack for designing, then I would suggest learning and doing it yourself. If you are not a designer at heart, I would suggest hiring a designer, since you can learn how to do everything, but still have an ugly site. As you learn you will descover that it is not exactly a simple thing to place things where you want them and how you want them to appear, and have it be that way for every person using any type of device to view your page. I hope this helps.

  4. I am extremely impressed with your writing skills as well as with the layout on your weblog. Is this a paid theme or did you modify it yourself? Either way keep up the nice quality writing, it is rare to see a great blog like this one these days..
