Know these things

Listen to the following passage of scripture and know 3 things. First, not everyone who calls Jesus Lord will be able to enter the Kingdom of Heaven (Matthew 13:40-43). Entering the Kingdom of Christ was easy; we got saved (Ephesians 2:6-10, Colossians 1:21-23). However, remaining in the Kingdom when it is handed back to God (1 Corinthians 15:24) is what we are seeking (Matthew 6:33, 2 Thessalonians 1:3-5).

Second, many church attending people think they know Jesus, but not according to the instructions found in the Bible (Ephesians 4:20-24, 1 John 2:3, John 14:21-23). Check those verses and make sure that you know Jesus. The same Bible that tells us about Jesus and how to be saved, is the same Bible that instructs us how to come to know Him afterwards. Don’t be tricked.

Third, lawlessness identifies the problem. Millions upon millions today go to church, but do not practice Christ law or the Laws of Moses. In fact they don’t hold to any law; lawlessness. They are taught to practice bits and pieces of different laws, but they never fulfill any of them. The Apostle Paul was under Christ’s law (1 Corinthians 9:21), which fulfills all laws (Romans 13:8-10).

Matthew 7:21-23 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.  22 Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’  23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’ NKJV

Lord willing, I will be explaining these and answering your questions on Saturday the 24th of this month at this month’s home gathering in Spartanburg, South Carolina. If you would like to attend, please let me know. We will not welcome anyone who does not believe their own Bible. Sorry, we only gather with the saints.

I’m Alan Ballou; a servant. Contact me if you want to attend this study.   HowToStopSinning.com
